NEWS REGISTER YOUR INTEREST FOR A MELBOURNE WHITEWATER STADIUM Recently the Federal Government announced that the Commonwealth Department of Defence Explosives Factory site in Maribyrnong will be sold to the Victorian Government for development into a Residential Community. The site will be subject to an extensive remediation process to clean and deliver the site to the Victorian Government. At a very recent meeting with the Director of Urban Design for Vic Urban, I submitted a Concept Plan for a whitewater stadium to be located adjacent to a portion of the extensive Maribyrnong River frontage that the site enjoys and generally located within the area in the photo above. If a whitewater stadium is to be located on this site it must be included into the Master Plan. In order to maximise our presence and demonstrate a high level of interest it is now imperative to register your interest for the development with Vic Urban.
